The mating is aligned by key to avoid mis-mating.
Its features rainproof, dustproof, salt spray resistant, electromagnetic interference resistant, radiation resistant (partial), high vacuum environment resistant (partial).
Suitable for the mating and motor driven demating of electrical lines between strategic and tactical weapon systems, space launch systems, and ground equipment, as well as similar situations requiring motor driven demating.
